"One of the biggest myths in our culture is that sports build character. As if doing a handstand, running a marathon, hitting a curveball, or simply suiting up are sufficient to strengthen a young person's moral fiber! Unless a coach teaches and models character and encourages its development in his athletes, it is more likely that organized sports and contemporary culture will spoil play and undermine the development of the very character and virtue they claim to build."
Our mission is to help boys become men who will lead with honesty, sincerity and integrity in the communities where they live and serve.
By executing our mission, we believe we will create one of the most successful and respected programs in the conference, state and nation; one that focuses on respecting the game and valuing our opponents.
We will strive to accomplish this while balancing one overarching goal: To keep the sport fun.
